Duration: 10-20 minutes Players: Minimum 10 players Drill Description: This is a 5 Man passing drill which requires, that the players can communicate, pass with quality and time their runs. So this is properly for older players to incorporate in their training. How does the drill works: 1. Player A (”midfielder”) dribbles across the mid-line and pass wide to Player B. 2. Player B (”winger”) times their run so they can receive with a good 1. touch and dribble a bit forward before passing opposite to Player C. 3. Player (”wingback”) times their run to receive the ball and drible to the back line to make a cutback to Player D. 4. Player D (”wingback”) times their run to make a pass/wallpass to Player E. 5. Player E (”winger”) times their run to finish on goal on their 1. touch or their second touch. When Player E made their finish, they walk behind the lines, and 5 new players are ready to begin the drill. Make sure the players switch positions Make sure to use both sides for passing and cutbacks Progressions: 1. Work with forced 2-3 touches 2. Add a goalkeeper 3. Make 2/3/4 teams to compete against each other (who scores most goals).
* Can also be used outdoor.
